In 1991, Gerhard Rehnelt created an individual company operating in the field of environmental technologies. The individual company was transformed into a Limited Liability Company in 1993 and has since then operated under the name RWS Elektro-Anlagen GmbH. In 2001, André Rehnelt took over the position of Managing Director. The company restructured and focused on new business areas. The local electrical installation company became a global specialist for automation and control engineering.
